SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN
During this time, you may submit work across all formats.
Contributions can include, but are not limited to: short stories, poetry, think pieces, interviews, essays, lyrics, scripts, music, film, spoken word, photography, prints, drawings, painting, sketches, watercolour...
There are TWO ways you can submit work to us:
Firstly, by submitting a completed piece of work to us.

Secondly, by pitching a new idea to us.

SUBMITTING A COMPLETE PIECE

TELL US MORE
Let us know a little bit about more by giving us a short summary or introduction to the piece. How did you come to create the piece? Tell us a little bit about you as well and what name you would like to be published under if your piece is selected for the journal.

SEND IT TO US
Make sure your piece meets the guidelines for the category you are submitting under before you send it to us. This includes the format you send your work in. When you're ready, send the complete piece to us via email at momentssjournal@gmail.com and we'll take a look at it.

HEAR BACK FROM US
After submitting your piece, we will review it and get back to you on whether we would like to feature your work. We may suggest a few edits to the writing, or ask for further material to accompany artwork. We aim to reply to you within 7 days of submission.

If you have an idea for a submission that you'd like us to feature, for example a collaboration or an idea outside of our current listings, then get in touch. Tell us more about what you would like to work on and how we can help.

HOW CAN WE HELP?
We can provide editorial support for writing, opportunities to pair you with other artists, or process check ins, just let us know what you would like from us by emailing momentssjournal@gmail.com. See our guidelines for more info.

HEAR BACK FROM US
After submitting your proposal, we will review it and get back to you on whether we would like to work with you on your idea. If we would like to pursue it, we will do our best to provide support as requested. We aim to reply to you within 7 days of submission.
Terms & Conditions
Please note that by submitting to Moment/s you are agreeing to have your work published in the journal & used for promotional materials. Submitted work will always be credited by name to the creator. If you wish for your work to be published anonymously please do let us know. We are primarily looking for new, unpublished pieces, but we will not own the rights to your work once submitted or published. Where collaborative pieces or editing work has been undertaken, permission must always be sought from all parties for the work to be published or used elsewhere. We will only ever make suggestions and will not change your work without express permission or communication; once a final copy has been agreed, this version be published without further edits. Any additional materials provided, such as an abstract or description of inspiration, will only ever be published with the express permission of the person submitting them.
