Moment/s is an arts journal that was set up in early 2025 by Maria Pointer.
It was developed in reaction to further arts funding cuts, making opportunities to create and share work openly feel even more sparse and expensive. ​

WHAT WE DO
Primarily, we look to share new material or unpublished work. Contributions can include, but are not limited to: short stories, poetry, think pieces, interviews, essays, lyrics, scripts, music, film, spoken word, photography, prints, drawings, painting, sketches, watercolour…

Though we may publish work inspired by certain themes, we are not bound by a specific style or aesthetic.
WHY WE DO IT
Moment/s was formed to create a space for people to showcase their work free of charge. ​We welcome submissions from any and everyone.
You don't need to have prior experience to submit; we want to share a variety of work from a wide-range of contributors.

HOW WE DO IT
Moment/s is an eco-conscious journal, looking to publish purely digitally to keep our carbon footprint low and avoid damages incurred through material waste, printing, and distribution.
Digitalising the journal also provides us with a platform to work with linked media, encompassing visual and audio forms.
